The month of February was all about preparation, drivers dusted off the cobwebs, started training and testing for races in Oregon, Washington, California, Alabama and Florida. An interesting aspect of simulation is watching an experienced driver pass on his wisdom to a novice driver for the IMSA Prototype Lites test session at Sebring. One of the limitations of traditional coaching is the coach can’t physically drive with the trainee, however with virtual reality and simulation, Dominic was able to coach the driver through the session adding an additional element that is difficult to provide at the track.

It was also very enjoyable to work with Tazio Ottis and TJ Fischer in their preparation for their season-opening race at St. Petersburg in Florida. They both worked on their race craft by driving against remote drivers in Europe in full race length training sessions.
