Keith Maher joins with Dominic Dobson to develop Virtual Reality solutions to overcome automotive and racing challenges.

Hillsboro, OR, August 12, 2016– Keith Maher, former Intel Senior Technology Engineer and Founder of Maher Solutions, has partnered with professional racing driver and coach, Dominic Dobson, to form VR Motion Corp.

VR Motion Corp (VRMC) is a new company focused on developing revolutionary tools to enable consumers a virtual driving experience like no other. The company will expand and refine the current auto racing training simulators and integrate the latest technology to bring live coaching to the thousands of amateur and professional racers worldwide.

Maher began his career at Intel, where he spent 22 years developing advanced semiconductors and working with customers worldwide. He formed Maher Solutions in 2007 to advance the state of racing simulators using lessons learned at the technology giant.

Dobson used a Maher Solutions simulator to train for the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb with great success in 2015, winning the Unlimited Class and the prestigious Rookie of the Year award in his first ascent up the very tricky mountain course.

“The Maher simulator allowed me to virtually learn the demands of the 12.5 miles, 156 turn Pikes Peak Hillclimb course before I even arrived there,” Dobson said. “Training this way allows drivers to develop muscle memory in a zero-risk, very low-cost environment, with a coach who knows the circuit and can provide feedback in real time.
